New Omega driver...having problems

System specs:
Athlon XP 1900 + Win XP Home
Sapphire Radeon 9700 Pro (Atlantis)
512 MB Crucial DDR SDRAM
40 & 60 GB Maxtor and Seagate Barracuda HDD's...yada yada..

Problem...

I installed these drivers, according to the usual procedures,
and even though I had a CP, and Plug & Play on Radeon 9700 Pro
showed in my Display set-up, I got the following error, when I started
up Rallisport...

"Rallisport requires a card capable of Hardware T&L.."

Obviously, my system wasn't recognizing my card correctly.
Also, it slowed down my 2D desktop so bad it looked like a slideshow.

What went wrong?

run dxdiag, check AGP texture acceleration is enabled.

Actually, my dumba** did the routine,driver un-install procedure, instead of just un-installing the ATI CP and then letting
Omega's drivers overwrite the rest.

Great drivers btw. Noticeable improvements in several D3D games. They even seem to sound better.
