Best of luck.

It's a great idea and I wish you folks nothing but the best with it, what a crappy week to switch to nVidia.

rolleyes Well....

...I got a bit miffed when I found out the refresh rate issues with 9x/ME were part of the reason my wife has been feeling like sh@t lately, the long/short is the monitor was at 60Mhz even though control panel showed it at 75Mhz. Ever since the cat 3.2 have been released my wife has been having chronic headaches and fatigue problems, I didn't figure out until the other night about the 60Mhz monitor on her PC and then it all clicked and made sense. She hasn't had any problems since I reverted to the 9062 set and used the registry entry to be able to kick it back up to 85Mhz again.

I'm tired of playing with it so much for a card I ain't particularly that fond of, it ain't worth the headaches. (So to speak.... )

Coincidently, the morning before I found that out I found a deal on a Gainsward GF4 ti4400 Ultra\700XP for $100us and me brain went all wonky and I jumped on it. My GF3 is showing it's age on newer games, and I need something that can hold me over until some used 9500/9700 Pros become available. I did a post about it over at R3D too because last time I bought a new card someone started a "Dig is a traitor!" thread. (It was a Voodoo5 5500 for crying out loud, I just wanted to see this 3dfx AA everyone was raving about. )

So yeah, I'm pulling the 8500 out of Blue and she's getting the GF3. Bubbles will get the GF4 and if I'm not mistaken she should be able to JUST about tickle 10K onions when I get thru modding & OCing the GF4. (It's gonna be tight...but if it was easy everyone would do it. )

Don't worry, I've found a good home for the 8500...you'll be hearing about her.

Wow that sucks man! Sorry to hear about the headaches and all.

Well ever since you reported the issue to me we have had it investigated and believe we found a fix to the problem. I think the next CATALYST 3.3's will have it fixed. I should ask some of our beta testers to give it a whirl.

especially the part where it asks what products you would like to test and it has remote wonder listed.

I said I would be willing to test one if they sent it and a tv wonder to me....whoever sees that will just put a big red x on mine hehe
