Laptop GPU overheating

Hi,

As stated my laptop's GPU, an x700 on an Acer Aspire 5010, is overheating while I play games. I've used ATItool to underclock it with some success, but it tends to hang when watching videos while underclocked.

I've now installed the Omega driver which seems to underclock more reliably, but I can't go much lower than the default.

So I need to know, is there any way of changing the lower limit so I can make it run even slower?

Odd request, right?
