Greetings and welcome to DriverHeaven!

You don't say which version of the drivers you have attempted to install. However, if you have tried to install any version newer than Catalyst 6.5, it won't work. Only Catalyst 6.5 or earlier will work on any cards that are not DirectX 9 capable.

Your card, 9250 is a DirectX 8 card. So, download the appropriate drivers and let us know if that works or not. If you still are having problems, please include all pertinent details about your system: Windows Version; Motherboard, CPU, RAM, etc.

Thanks!

You can begin your search for the correct drivers here:

The first thing you need to do is to update the motherboard drivers and, if there's a new one, the BIOS, too.

Go here:

PC Chips M789 CG Downloads

There are Drivers, BIOS, and Manual (Instructions) downloads.

Once you have updated the motherboard, if you still have problems please post back.

Good luck!

If you have the latest BIOS, what about the motherboard/chipset drivers? These are just as important and need to be using the latest release for your system.

What about Windows Updates? Are you up to date with those, too?

OK.

Which release of DirectX have you installed? There is a new April release that might fix the problem:

Yes, your card is DirectX 8. However, DirectX 9.0c is for all DX cards from 9 back to 7. There should be no problem using the latest DX 9.0c from April on your card.
