Help with ATT & X1900XT Oc...
hi i did an OC in ATT to my X1900XT...and i set it to load each time windows starts...ok it works...but when i exit a game it automaticly sets back to default clocks...
looked everywere in options and didn't found anything related... like i said it happens every time i exit a game...(i disabled ATI HOTKEY POLLER)...still no luck

These cards are designed to run 2D at lower clock speeds. You don't need the overclocking with 2D. When you start your game again, or another 3D app, you will see the overclocking. There's nothing wrong with the way it's working.

For my own part, I don't overclock except for testing and benchmarks. And, I can't figure out why it would be wanted ... or needed ... in 2D. I can't think of any good reason to do that. |
