exclamation I need help bad Bad OpenGL or Damge? on my x700pro
Hi folkes I got my card back month ago from ati. I notice last Tuesday it start doing this. In 18 Wheels of Steel Haulin I can't play that game it's open gl. I get bad triangles really bad with lines and can't see the game. When I ran the 3dmark03 at 4 one before the soundtest before last one I see boxes where the score is on ragdoll test. But in 3dgames it's fine. Does this mean I have RMA my card again? I just formated now and still does or should I try a driffter driver? I take screen shot tomorrow afternoon.

Originally reading your post, lead me to believe the card had damaged memory.....But since you said its fine in D3D.... I would suggest trying a new driver, if not the card seems to have a problem with OpenGL....try another game using OpenGL to fully test.

Nope no go I try new official drivers. Terry I need your help. I posted a pick up soon on Sunday night, Looks like might have RMA back graphics card that you send my replacement to me last month. I think something must happen to durning shipping. I have no clue why my haulin game getting wierd lines and stuff. I'm going upload later on because I'm having wireless issues right now In my 3dgames is fine but in opengl I can't run that game.

Robert, was this a problem with this particular game prior to RMAing the card? That information might be of interest.

EDIT: Just to check things out, I downloaded the 60 minute free demo and tried it out.

I'm using the latest CAT 7.7s and there were no graphics problems at all. I set it up at 1280x1024 @85Hz with HIGH settings and the game is very smooth and fluid. Just not my cup o' tea, though.

no issues in before rma I had send in I couldn't do tweaks on that other card. Now since I have new replacment back in the game I get this
