i recently purchased a X agp video card and i like using the omega drivers but when i go to install them they don't properly install or work causing my computer to slow down or freeze, i was wondering if this is an isolated event or am i not installing them correctly my previous V.C. was an x800gto agp 256 and it worked great with th omega drivers but when i go to install a new v.c. the omega drivers suddenly don't work. i am trying to install the omega 3.360 drivers over the ati drivers.

There have been many posts lately re: X1650 Pro video cards and Omegadrivers not working with them. It's likely that the cards Hardware ID is not included in the list of supported video cards. So, I suggest you try the NGO Optimized drivers for ATI cards for now. www.ngohq.com Just click the link and then go up to the Files option and scroll to the appropriate driver list. Perhaps Omegadrivers will add support for these cards in future releases. Cheers! |
