3.8.360 TV out + resolution change problems

Hi there,
I've been using 3.8.330 for quite some time and was used to it. Then I upgraded, when something went wrong and I've seen only 16 colors - I was forced to reinstall those drivers..
So I installed 3.8.360 (Cat. 7.4). I usually use dual output / monitor and tv out (so I am ready to watch movies at all times). So when I used ATT to configure that, I lost the option to change resolution using ATT. When I want to change resolution, I must go to display properties, etc. That, by itself, wouldn't be that much of a problem, 'cause I don't need to change it for work.

But games (COD2, Gothic3, Gothic2, CnC Generals) report DirectX not installed when TV out is activated. I presume, that they miss the resolution change feature, which seems to be disabled in new drivers (ATT can't change resolution as well). I assure you, that I have the latest DirectX installed, and this began to happen after upgrade. For games I have to disable TV out and it works OK.

My configuration:
Sapphire ATI Radeon X1950 Pro Ultimate, MSI board, AMD Athlon64 3000+, 1GB RAM, WinXP SP2, latest updates.
Maximum TV out supported resolution is 1024x768 (as before, larger appears as cropped, cropped part is moved by mouse movement).
