7.9 Hotfix for Quake Wars Enemy Territory Demo to improve performance

AMD Customer Care

Driver is 7.9 nonWHQL, so unsure if it is an early 7.9 that is now superseded by the main 7.9, or a post-7.9 fix.

Wonder if there are general OpenGL issues, or if it's only this one it makes a difference to.

Is the Radeon X1050 the 9600XT?

any word with 1950 pro agp problem fixes? if not, not good ati/amd... maybe someone from this entity can comment. almost ready to buy a lot of expensive components and this is a huge deciding factor.

Edit: Son of a bitch AMD/ATI! Bioshock still doesn't work. If I have to overhaul just to play U3, it's Nvidia all the way, right down to the MB. This is absurd. Period.
