win xp mce 2005 + latest omega drivers

Hi,

I've recently installed the latest omega drivers, since then i can't get mce to start working
i get a message "driver is not compatible with mce". mce then starts but i can't play any videos. does MCE work with the latest omega drivers??

Another problem i have is overscanned picture: i have an ati radeon 9600xt connected via dvi -> hdmi cable to a panasonic plasma screen which gave me an overscanned picture in 720p resolution. I can't change the image size through hdmi connection and thus the only reason i'm trying omega drivers is to fix this overscan (ATI's formal drivers didn't fix the problem nor ngo's drivers). Do you have any suggestions regarding this problem?

one thing worth noting is that after installing omega drivers i installed ATI's Control Center (since it was written that in order to change overscan i need it... but i couldn't find any option for scaling the image size).
tried regular uninstall but windows keeps finding omega's drivers again. (will try to do manual uninstall according to the website).
