Welcome to DH.

Only the Radeon 9500 and up is supported. Revert back to Catalyst 6.5 I think was the last supported release.

I have a VisionTek Radeon HD2600PRO 512 AGP and it is not supported.
My Device Instance ID is PCI\VEN_1002&DEV_9587&SUBSYS_00281545

I will be happy to edit some text files if I know which ones!
Thank you

Just a quick note. I edited my inf file after the fact and manually installed the driver from control panel.
The driver installed but I got the following Error when clicking on the ATI Tray Tools icon: "Unable to retrive information from BIOS! Please report to developer about your board!

Going to the ATI 3D control panel and selecting details shows that the BIOS Version, Part Number, and Date are Not Available. Also the Memory Type is Not Available too. Therefore, I may of installed the drivers but they are 100% NOT complete.

I am trying really hard to get my age of empires III to work without the graphics corruption. I am trying the Omega drivers to cover all bases. Trouble tickets with ATI did nothing and the forums at VisionTek revealed nothing. The age of empires III forum did not reveal any answers other than install the latest drivers. I could not find anyone else with this similar problem: Play AOEIII with AGP HD2600 Pro card.

Mine doesn't either

"ATI Radeon HD 2600 XT AGP" = ati2mtag_RV630, PCI\VEN_1002&DEV_9586

Hmm drivers aren't installing for me even with the new updated version. I have a Sapphire Radeon x1950xt 256 pcie. Basically the installation process goes through and then when I say yes to drivers are ready to install now, then it warns me about the overwriting old files warning that might pop up but after that it just goes straight to asking me if I want the control panel shortcutted on the desktop (then restart is prompted). But upon windows restart, drivers have clearly not been installed.

No error messages or anything. Not sure if this is a situation where you need
the card ID. If so, here it is:

PCI\VEN_1002&DEV_7244&SUBSYS_0B121002

Really appreciate the work you've done Omega - I know you're probably swamped with requests and questions and right now but just wanted to say thanks for the drivers.

Yeah, I have the same problem (I have the exact same card, Sapphire X1950XT 256mb, same card ID), everything goes through fine but once its done and restarted, it's still not installed.

Hmm, strange about the installation issues, I didn't touched that part when I was adding the new scripts for AGP, Have you guys tried to install from the start menu options once the installation ends?

As for the 2600 AGP cards, it seems they where not supported on Cat 7.7 and the D3D driver that I used is not working with it, try installing again but select PCIe as the option instead of AGP and see if it works (since it uses the newest D3D ICD).

I tried installing from the omega menu after the initial installation for my 2600xt pci-e and it says the card is not supported even tho my device ID is part of the list "PCI\VEN_1002&DEV_9588"

After trying the start menu install, I get an INF error Video Driver not found message. I managed to get something installed when I went through the Windows wizard and then pointed it to the folder where the drivers are, but this didn't feel very stable (Team Fortress 2 crashed when I was playing for about a minute which wasn't happening with vanilla 7.10s).

The ONLY card I know is not working for sure is the 2600 with ID "9586", since I never got that ID before, but is already added for next build.

As for the 1950 cards, Where my previous drivers installing fine? Cause my card is a 1900XT PCIe and I have yet to find any issues, that's why I find it strange that they don't install on your cards since they use same install scripts, only the IDs differ.

My card is on the list of supported drivers.

"Radeon HD 2600 XT (Omega 3.8.421) " = ati2mtag_RV630, PCI\VEN_1002&DEV_9588

Its made by Sapphire. But when i install the drivers then reboot, its not loading the drivers and keeps saying "new hardware found (vga compatible)"

Any idea why this is happening?

Omega -

I don't believe I have tried earlier Omega drivers on my x1950xt (bought it recently and I think I just went with Catalysts to start). When I get the chance (don't mean to leave you hanging, heh), I will try to install older versions of your driver to see if it is an issue w/Omega drivers in general or just the most recent ones based on 7.9.

Hi,Stormblade. On "Omegadrive's" website he said he doesn't like Vista yet,and therefore there isn't vista-omega drivers yet.The message is on his site.

Some others are also having problems with the old CP too, specially newer cards, so I'm thinking that soon I will be removing it from my drivers and just distribute the drivers plus ATT alone, there is no point anymore to keep distributing it since ATI is not updating it anyway, so a lot of new features and settings are missing from it.

As for Vista32 drivers, I'm planning already to do a few beta releases of what I have so far, not many changes from the core drivers, but is a start.

Hi,
I appeal especially to Omegadrive. I want to know if the last omegadriver 3.8.421 support the Sapphire hd2600 pro 512Mb agp.If no,what you recommended to me? Like phrozin I have found serious problems in the menu and the graphics of Pro Evolution Soccer 2008.The last Omega drivers seems do not work. Any suggestions?

Thanks a lot

I'm running a Sapphire HD 2600 PRO 512MB AGP 8X (WINDOWS XP), and I just thought I'd let you know that the OMEGA drivers aren't working for me; I'm having the same issues as most others who've posted in this thread, i.e. after installation, I restart the PC, and I get the New Hardware detected, so clearly, something's not going right.

Here's my card ID: PCI\VEN_1002&DEV_9587&SUBSYS_00281002&REV_00

Hope to see this issue fixed soon, as it seems that ATI have stopped support for AGP on their latest Catalyst driver download, as I can't get that to install for me, as it says I don't have the hardware.

Cheers.

EDIT: Oh, and also, I was wondering whether, once a fix is released, that I can install the Omega drivers and Tools directly over my current Catalyst drivers and CCC? If not, what do I have to do?
