Then I apologize, it just seemed on the surface that ATI drivers would become less important and possibly die off.

Kudos to you and your work, the only reason I got somewhat testy is really more a compliment/testament to your work...as I've always been a big fan.

I would like to know the name of the Support Person who told you to do this....PLEASE! If you say you don't know, then you weren't paying attention as every support person is REQUIRED to introduce themselves at the very beginning of the support conversation.

OR, it it's via email, even better!

Just post the name of whoever it was that said/wrote this to you.

Re: Radeon Omega Drivers 3.8.421 (Cat 7.10)

I just tried to install the omegadrivers recently for my powercolor HD3850 and well.. it didn't work. gave me an error about not finding any compatible hardware.

the device ID is as follows: PCI\VEN_1002&DEV_9515&SUBSYS_00281787&REV_00\4&1AD 7642&0&0058

That's because the 7.10 drivers that this omega is based on is to old, the 3850 wasn't out then....
