Radeon 9550SE 128MB Driver support for 17" widescreen resolution 1440x900

Can't seem to find an updated driver for VGA card Model:

Radeon 9550SE 128MB DDR V/D SVOHS

Can anyone suggest?

At the moment the display is stretched as card driver does not support it.

thanks

Welcome to DriverHeaven!

You're using this on what system and with what kind of monitor?

Please read the "Having Problems? Need Some Help?" announcement and then post more detail please.

EDIT: FWIW, I just went to Advanced Micro Devices Inc., clicked on Support & Drivers, selected the options -- including 9550 series -- and, voila! came up with Catalyst 7.10.

All right! Now, you may have problems with those drivers since you're using an AGP card. If so, try using the Omegadrivers that are posted in the top Sticky link. He's somehow enabled the AGP function of these drivers.

Good luck!

Walla ... thank you very much Dyre. The Catalyst 7.10 did the trick. A little drama with my vid clips they don't display at 200%. I will download the latest Windows Media Player should support. Is it a good idea to try the Omega

thanks for your on target response sir !!

The Omegadrivers are made with games in mind and are tweaked for such. It's your call on whether to use them or not.

Cheers!

I ended up installing the Omega 3.8.421 drivers and it is doing a great job. No lagging on the right click as the Catalyst. Much better than the Catalyst 7.10 I am happy to say and thanks for all the advice and professionalism. Dyre your'e the man sir !! By the way my monitor is a 17" widescreen Benq.

cheers

If it is Windows XP 64 BIT edition take a look around here. I am not an expert.
Also I presume it is a desktop computer. This is at the AMD motherboard site where I found something. Have a look around this link. If you cant find, I have 2 driver packages ATI and an Omega one that runs my 17" desktop screen
