Omega 3.8.421 Problem?
Hey, I have a GeCube Radeon 9250 PCI card. Not the best by any standards, but it gets the job done. I've been playing Painkiller and Black and White 2 and WoW with pretty decent performance. I wanted to try out the Omega drivers however, so I installed them.
After installing, I run dxDiag to find that my Display 1 (Radeon card), does not give me the option to enable Direct3D...anyone know how to fix this? I really wanna try out the optimizations on the Omega cards, but if I have to switch back to Catalyst then so be it I guess. Last edited by kershner; Dec 2, 2007 at 12:37 AM. |

you need to get catalyst 6.5 & below
Previous Catalyst™ Drivers for Windows XP - For Radeon® 9250 and earlier dunno why 6.11 is there too it's a dx8 card right, so everything pre dx9 became unsupported after cat 6.5, you'll need to go get omega 6.5, not the latest omega, & you should then be fine |
