Omega Drivers Causes my games to seizure
Recently i switched from using the offical Radeon drivers to the Omega Drivers for my X1450. The drivers improved some of my games fps and quality, however soem of the games like Rise of Nations or when i run 3Dmark06 and 05 with different resolutions my screen starts to seizure and flicker? Does anyone have a solution for this thanks once agian

Do you have a CRT? If so it is probably the refresh rate changing at those resolutions where it happens. To fix you could probably right click on your desktop and go to Properties, then select the resolution where the problem occurs, apply it. Then click on Advanced and go to the Monitor tab, and change the refresh rate to the highest it can go when "Hide modes this monitor cannot display" is checked.
If you have an LCD then I don't know.

lol saddly i dont use CRT this is my display for my laptop which is LCD, what happens when i play Rise of nations is my resolution drops from 1440X900 *native* to like 1024 ** and in the game play its static all over. This also happened when i used 1024 for 3DMark06/06 in the loading...
*what happens when it changes resolution the sides just go black* |

on my HP laptop with x1250, i had a flicker whenever anything 3d was going on & off (solidworks flickered every time you change the menu) with feb2007 HP drivers, but the sept ones fixed that
how much did omega improve your fps? any new updates from your laptop manufacturer? |

For omega drivers i scored 3000 on 3DMarks05 from like 2475 i think it was a significant boost this is with OC mind you. But I have never gotten this problem with offical drivers before. So i am thinking of switching back maybe.

ya i'd just stick to whatever's most stable for games & windows, not 3dmark
