SketchUp 6 and Omega Drivers

Using the latest Omega drivers fixes a problem I've been having with a couple of laptops in my office with our main CAD platform (Autodesk Revit).

However, the 3.8.442 drivers cause a problem in SketchUp 6 -- snapping to endpoints of lines, etc is very slow. Disabling use of OpenGL in SketchUp solves the problem, but then the display is slow instead (choose your evil, huh)

I'm posting in the slim hopes that someone knows what OGL settings would solve this problem. I've tried quite a few myself already, and the SketchUp forums don't have an answer either.

i think as i was skimming official changelogs, sketchup might have been there, so what if you tried the new 8.1 cats?

these issues are on any card/chip?
