Omega Drivers and misidentified x1100
Hi
I have a notebook with xpress 1100. Because Asus seems to have stopped upgrading its driviers, I wanted to try Omega Drivers. The problem is that they misidenify my GPU and claim I have radeon 200m instead. Is there a way to force these drivers to identify my card properly? BTW: official ATI drivers patched with Mobility Modder do the same thing. |

yes, I have the same problem
I install the modded drivers and it is recognized as 200M. That is ok with me, even some of the games that were corrupt(graphics) are working fine.
But the video is not working(black screen) So I roll back to the original drivers and video is working fine- except- yes, the game which was working before(Aquaria). Well, to be honest, I am reinstalling the drivers everytime I want to play Aquaria which is not that often. Yes, not the ideal state ![]() I looked for possible solution almost everywhere I could- but mostly found the same problem described and without answer/solution. Anybody? Thank you.
