Mobility 7500/9000 => Mobility FireGL 7800/9000

As you probably know IBM uses a Mobility Fire GL 9000 in his ThinkPad T40p and a Mobility Fire GL 7800 in his ThinkPad A31p .

Is there a possibility to softmod a normal Mobility 7500/9000 to become a FireGL ?

thanks
