visiontek x1950 pro AGP problem

Hello, I am having a problem with my x1950 agp pro video card. i have tried drivers 7.5, 7.6, 7.7, 7.10(Omega drivers), 7.12(Omega drivers), and 8.1 with hotfix, but none seem to fix the problem. The problem I am having is that in smartgear, under AGP settings, AGP Write and AGP Read are always automatically turned off. i turn them on and restart the computer and the computer loads windows slow, then the screen goes blank for a second and i get missing desktop icons. I am not sure if its the MOBO drivers or video drivers or what. It seems like my card is not running games as well as it should. I've been tryin to figure out this problem for a month now and its getting really frustrating. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Default Settings with omega 7.12
3DMark05 Score: 5548 3DMarks
seems low compared to other scores i have seen.

System Specs

All you need to do is to enable the agp fast write in bios.
