Problem with Sapphire Radeon HD 2600 PRO with current omega drivers

Hello, I'm new on the forums and I just bought a AGP Sapphire Radeon HD 2600 PRO today and I installed the newest omega drivers. After installation and setup/reboot, I tried testing it out with a game I had a solid 60fps on with my 9800PRO before it pooped. What happened was I only got like 15fps on constant and going into my ATI tray tools showed:

Clock Information
BIOS VPU 600.00
Current VPU 0.00
BIOS MEM 400.00
Current MEM 0.00

Going into the hardware section, it doesn't let me overclock and such. I have no idea whats wrong and I wish I could just play games again . I was wondering if anyone could tell me the problem?

Thanks

Moved to a more appropriate forum

Anyways

Did you uninstall the previous drivers before installing the new 2600pro? If you didnt I would suggest doing a full uninstall, and use DH DriverCleaner to remove old registry entires, and files used by ATI stuff and double check it with a registry cleaner if you have one, if you dont I would suggest Registry Mechanic, or use Eusing Free Registry Cleaner I used to use both of them when I was on XP..

If that doesnt work, I would try the latest 8.2 Catalyst release for XP (assuming your on XP since Omega doesnt do Vista drivers ) and report back on what happens.

Well I installed the 8.2 ATI Catalyst drivers and everything seems to be running normally. I'm on XP pro SP 2, I guess my problem is I upgraded from my 9800 PRO card that got fried and I really expected a drastic performance improvement.

2600Pro isnt very powerful at all, but it should be faster than that 9800.....
