I'm having what seems to be a common problem where my Fujitsu laptop is crashing due to an ati2dvag error. I've gone through the process of updating my driver with the mobility modder, and driver cleaner as described on this site, but am still having problems. Many other threads with similar problems seem to have no resolution. ("x1600 Pro -"atidvag" Bluescreen Error" by plummy89 in Apr 2008, and "Blackscreen no signal ati2dvag" by pcinfoorg in Apr 2006). I'm having this problem with simple programs, I'm not into online gaming. Recently got a free AVG virus protection program, but this problem doesn't seem directly related.
Here's my computer's info: Intel i915 PM/GM motherboard with a Pentium M 750 CPU processor 1.86 GHz 781 MHz, 512 MB RAM (DDR2) ATI Catalyst Mobility 8.4 Display Driver Help. |
