Both, you probably wanted to ask if they work for non-BBA cards. Yes, they work fine.

Old OpenGL file

I saw someone telling one thing to do should be to replace an openGL file by the one of another older set of driver, is it possible ??

Also, is there enough specification supplied by ATI for other codecs/players to make use of your FullStream tech? (I'm thinking of XINE based players on Linux and other open source systems)

You could start a thread in this forum asking about how to install them and I know you'll get all the help you need. Or, assuming you have a Dell, go here http://forums.us.dell.com/supportfor...d.id=dim_video and click on the "FAQ-VIDEO DRIVER REMOVAL & INSTALLATION" link and read the instructions about the ATI drivers.

That workaround was for the stutter bug which was fixed a while back. What he's describing is a little weird

This is a brand new comp... all fine before these new cats... color looks good though..but the rest is a nighmare.... im holding out for solutions, then going back to 3.1..

added..not just jagged, icons, favorites all is coming up really slow, like in stages...and hl wont even work, it says card dosnt support open gl....

sigh, well the counterstrike "resume" error has been fixed so im glad that issue was resolved, however im still unable to play the Day Of Defeat 1.0 half life mod due to the fact that as soon as the console goes up i see a second of the game, with some screwed up textures on trees etc, then i get a windows error message saying the half life launcher has encountered an error and must close, then whatever sound DOD was playing as it loaded just loops over and over, i thought this issue would be fixed with 3.4 cats any1 else encountering this? im using 9800 pro 128mb from connect 3d.

yea but i experienced the same, as if the acceleration needs a push to get going. the "studder fix" helped that problem too

Corruption on the desktop in XP still exists after attempting to load a VESA based application.

Descent 3 STILL hard locks.

Well, i'm proud to say that the mobility modder still works as expected.
Still i thank Catalyst Maker for not screwing around with the layout of the driver, as I know he has the power.

Big thanks to the entire catalyst making team! give those guys a raise Terry! and don't forget to include yourself hehe.

Happy modding mobil users!!!

Well reinstall seemed to fix 95 percent of prob. Strange though , this time around there is more in control panel, the first install didnt have the smartguard in it, now it there..weird..... Jaggedness is almost gone, half life now loads up, but seems a wee bit sluggish though....the esacpe fix is working, yet when resumong it takes about 10 seconds to come back up....starnge..like i said its better , but seems sluggish still...like the above said it neds like a boost...

if anyone actually goes to the ATI download page WITHOUT clicking on the direct links here (which just nets u the download file)
you will notice that each time there is a bigass list of bug fixes and junk.

well off to install these

patje, I tried the auto modder for the mobilities and it didn't seem to work right. It wouldn't install. I checked the inf files and there was no added mention of PCI\VEN_1002&DEV_4C57 which is the 7500M device. I may have just done something dumb as I am in a rush, so I will finish off this post later, but just something to check into. Thanks! Schwarz2
