MY Counter Strike controls messed up after installing Cat 3.4!

After I installed Cat 3.4, I went right away to test out Counter STrike. The resume problem fixed but there's another problem with my controls. I couldn't set the strafe left and strafe right to the arrows keyboard buttons. And when in game, whenever I use the uparrow to run forward, my char just walk, not running, then all the sudden it runs. What is going on? any else has this problem?

I haven't had any trouble with CS 1.5 and the Cat 3.4's yet. I am running a 9700 PRO on a P$ 2.53 GHz machine.

I am glad the black screen of doom for CS has been fixed though. Now we cann al finally play CS on LAN and internet without having to worry about lockups.

Why turn numlock off? Ive been using my comp with numlock on for a longtime and had no problem.

Also, if i alt tab out of game and back in, the V-sync is off, but I had it on when I first ran the game.

I have no clue right now. But in CS/HL, Q3, SeriousSam, Q3-engine games Num-Lock will cause problems with arrow keys.

There's a bug there somewhere or something that we haven't nailed down yet - pretty minor, and the "fix" is a keystroke away so just do it

the 3.1 did that too if u set it to default on--u hafta set it to ALWAYS on
