Radeon X1050 freeze when trying to wake up
Hello, I have recently installed the Omega ATI Radeon drivers and have come across the following problem:
Every time when I put my system to sleep (standby) and try to wake it up, I get a hard freeze. My monitor does not power up during the waking and I can tell its hard freeze because the keyboard freezes (no caps/num/scroll lock lights changing) and no sound is heard upon pressing a bunch of keys (or punching the keyboard) Has anyone else had this problem? I've had some luck using hibernate instead of sleep, but I still get the freeze to happen as well doing that. Which system specs should I provide to better help you help me resolve this issue? Thanks |

Yes, have been dealing with this same issue on a X700 AGP since Cat 6.6 or so. Ended up having to turn off Standby and use Hibernate instead.
