What chip is the Mobility Radeon D?

I've been given a Sony VAIO PCG-GR270P laptop with Mobility Radeon D graphics with 16meg SDRAM. (1Ghz PIII with 30gig HD, CD-RW HiSpeed/DVD-ROM combo drive.)

Pretty nifty, except Sony hasn't released a video driver update since 11/20/2001!

What chip is the Mobility Radeon D? That's what SONY says it is, so if you're going to say "No such thing!" tell it to SONY.
