Best/fastest driver for X1650 Pro AGP???

Hello

Because my old 9800 Pro just died, i got a new card: the Sapphire X1650 Pro 256 MB GDDR3 AGP.
The rest of my system looks like this:
P4 3,0 Ghz HT 800 Mhz FSB / 1 GB DDR-RAM PC400 / Windows XP Pro

Well, i just would like to know which drivers are the best/fastest for the X1650 Pro AGP?
At the moment i'm using Catalyst 8.9

I just wonder if i would get a better performance in games by using a different (older) driver...

I've heard that the new Catalysts are optimized for the new cards only.
But isn't it better to use always the newest Catalyst driver, because they have bugfixes for newer games?
Hmm, so what driver should i use to get the best performance out of my X1650 Pro?

The latest Catalyst, or an older one (which one?)?
And should is use Omega-drivers or the original ATI-Catalysts?

Please give me some advice...

I would say that CAT 7.11 would do just fine. I haven't seen any major improvements for the older X1XXX series of cards after that....

First of all thanx for your quick answer!
You think that i'm not getting any problems with new games with this old driver?
Games like Crysis Warhead, Far Cry 2, GTA 4, Tomb Raider Underworld...
I know, i'm not able to run those games with high resolutions/settings, but at least i should be able to run them on 800x600 with low to medium settings i guess...
Well, Cat 7.11...the original ATI Cat, or the Omega driver based on the Cat 7.11?

Oh, i just saw, there isn't an Omega-driver based on the Cat 7.11, right?
Only Omegas based on 7.10 and 7.12...
So, which one should i use? Original Cat. 7.11, Omega based on 7.10, or Omega based on 7.12???

Well the newest omegas are based on the CAT 7.12 so you might try those =)

Wow! The latest Omega-drivers based on the Cat 7.12 gave me a good performance-boost over the Cat 8.9!

CSS Stress-Test: Cat 8.9 = 98 FPS / Omega 7.12 = 106 FPS
I also tested the Crysis-demo. It runs a lot smoother now.
On 800x600 with low-medium settings i get around 20-30 Frames

No comparsion to my old 9800 Pro!
