3d Stereo Glasses Driver Support

Are you kidding...we NEED 3d stereo support! How do we let ATI know athat we NEED stereo 3d support? See my posting here

to see that I went to nVidia in order to get 3d support! (these are duplicate posts)

I have used,loved, and PURCHASED ATI products for years. ATI, please consider this as a wake up call...MY "market conditions" have changed...I suspect others have also.

I started a SURVEY with regards to this issue so that we can show ATI just how many of us would like 3d glasses support?

3dimensional has some drivers for it, and people say they work really well.
I got my drivers from them, and I'll give them a try this week sometime when i get some frree time.

Is it WORTH it????....cough, sputter, gag! It is most definitely woth it! Try flying a 3d aircraft in flight simulater 2002 or X-Plane across 3d terrain...nothing like it!
First person shooters sometimes are challenging to aim a 3d cursor but are just as thrilling.
It is always with great anticipation that I activate my 3d glasses to see the new effects offered during gameplay or displayed by an image.

I voted for it. With the awesome job ATI has been doing as of late why not have them include this also. The more varieties they can cover benefits us gamers and their bottom line.

I thought I would resurect this poll to find anything will ever happen on the 3D glasses driver situation. With the more powerful cards around now and the ability to easily add new features with the CCC, I thought there might be more chance of something actually happening. I really miss the odd blast of realistic 3D gaming since I got rid of my Ti4200, would be nice to have that feature back again for the X800pro that I have coming my way. There must be others who have a pair of Elsa revelator glasses gathering dust on a shelf somewhere that would like to see monsters in DOOM3 jump out of the screen at you without having to buy another Nvidia card.

stero glasses are so retarded and give huge head aches, dont work with all games, and its a pain in the ass to setup for some.

belive me i used them for a while. who would want them... if u did, belive me it wouldnt last long.

their TOTALY not cool, and their not needed.

I voted FOR, but what I'd really,really, really like to see is VR. I do a lot of Flight simming, and 'affordable' VR would be really sweet.

I played a game called Dactal Nightmare at a mall about 8-10 years ago and it was really awesome. They had the computer power to do that then, and with the huge leap we've had in CPU and GPU technology we've had since that time, it's a mystery to me why someone hasn't come out with "VR for the masses".

please dont vote for something u havent even tried ever before. and i doubt sales would increase just cause of 3d glasses that will probably cause people to be retarded.

Which glasses did you have before that gave you such headaches and slowed your mental growth so much? I've never had any of these problems myself to be honest but if you are noticing these effects I would like to avoid them.

I've noticed something interesting in the Ruby demo, if you press S while the demo is playing a notice pops up saying stereo support is not available in this application. It might be a pointer that something is in the works, or it could just be ATI messing around I supppose.

Those pods ROCKED! Nobody knows what I'm talking about when I mention those..There was a boxing game and a handful of others that ran on that platform too. Fun times..They were like $5/game but so fun with a dozen people. Last time I saw one was about 6 years ago at Disney Quest in Florida..Maybe longer? Can't wait til I can afford a few for my livingroom.

So the FireGL cards have stereo support then, do you know if they use shutter glasses or is it something more exotic? If it is shutter glasses then it shouldn't be too difficult to port across support to the standard consumer range, the cores are practically identical anyhow.
