A workin driver for my Radeon 9800 Pro AND win 2000

Hi,

For a reason I can't find , my 4.8.442 (written 3.8.442) driver doesn't work right now.(it did before)
I tried to reinstall without success.

I try to downgrade to a 7.11 catalyst , but "there is no hardware found or OS working"

What can I do?

Please let me know what drivers work under w2000 ?

your issue sounds bigger than from the other thread... do you have motherboard/chipset drivers installed?

Between the two different posts , I uninstalled all ati and omega products with dedicated softwares (ati , and deep reg uninstallers).
I'm confident that everything related to ati and omega was out ,in reduced mode (F8).

After that , my graphic controller and my graphic card were detected and I cancelled the plug'n play prcocedure.
In VGA/admin/F8 mode I directly installed with success the 4.8.442 (written 3.8.442) driver.
After reboot in normal way , I found that 3D test with several bench were correct , dxdiag D3D works , BUT I always get the dead message concerning the VGA mode , and "recent" games as FarCry can't be launched

Yes it is on full.

I reinstalled sp4 win2000 and directx9c from March 08.

Need for speed carbon works
How can I find if a game is openGL on something else?

I always get this message

In W2000 reduced mode (F8) , I was in setup panel/material and looked on graphic driver.
It's the VGA one.
I unactive it reboot and reactive it and reboot.
Now I don't have the error message
