Problem with Extended Desktop

Not sure how or why this happened but every time I reboot my computer I have to go into display settings and set the desktop positions back to where I want them. Is there a way to fix this?!?!

are you clicking on apply after you set it back to where you want it?

Yes I click apply. However, after I reboot the extended desktop is back to the windows default position (with the extended portion being on the right side as opposed to the left where I have it.
