Youtube vids won't play!!!!

Hi good ppl of driverheaven

yesterday i installed the omega drivers for the ATI Radeon xpress 200M video card after having problems with my screen going black i am so glad to say that it solved that problem and thank you so much to you guys for helping me on this. They have worked like magic except for one small detail. I am unable to watch videos on Youtube because Youtube tells me that i need to install Adobe flash player. I went to Adobe and downloaded the newest flash player and installed it rebooted and went back to youtube and i was still getting the same "you need to install flash player" message. How can i fix this please guys!!! cuz not just youtube but sites like fox bussiness and cnn all have videos that i would like to continue watching. Is the solution to re-install the drivers or maybe a particular setting on the drivers? Any help you can give me will be greatly appreciated guys. Thank you so much in advance ok. Hope to hear from you guys soon. Take care everyone and have a nice day!!!

Re: Youtube vids won't play!!!!

Use the Flash player uninstaller from here: How to uninstall the Adobe Flash Player plug-in and ActiveX control, then download the offline installer: Download Flash Player 10 (Complete Standalone Installer) - free download of the full Flash Player installer

This way I managed to get Flash working a few times, maybe it will work for you too.

Re: Youtube vids won't play!!!!

Try right clicking the area where the vid should play on YouTube and select settings from the drop down, under there uncheck hardware acceleration.

You do definitely need flash installed. Install it as a stand alone for firefox with the browser closed and online for IE.

Re: Youtube vids won't play!!!!

Thanks for all of your help guys!!! I FINALLY FIXED IT YEAH!!! Here is the solution:

It appears that the adobe flash player in youtube is treated as a pop up by most pop up blockers so all you have to do is go to your pop up blocker and disable pop up blocking for youtube and bam your in business!!! hope this works for you guys and have fun watching your fav youtube vids again!!!
