Hey there,

I got an old macbook pro with a broken screen and bootcamp installed xp. i was able to use an external display with regular ati display drivers and after installing the omega drivers the external screen is not o automatically, since i cant see what is on the laptops screen because its cracked how do i go about getting the external monitor to work?

any help would be appreciated, thanks for your troubles!

you may be able to get the external monitor to remain on by booting up in safe mode (as this typically produces a clone mode in some cases).... setting the 2ndary monitor as primary or disabling the primary adapter to force the 2ndary to remain on when you normally boot..

give that a shot....
