I don't know whats wrong...

I have an LG LM40, its a little old, but it has the 9200 radeon ATI card...
I formated it, and everything went well until I start installing the VGA driver... the laptop starts and enters windows (XP) while its loading all the applications on the tray it freezes and nothing happens, and sometimes it would even restart... what am I doing wrong? or what could be causing this?!

are you attempting to install the modded ati drivers for it (6.11's or 6.5's and below)?

or are you trying to install the drivers that lg provides for that laptop...

did this give you any problems before you formatted it?
