Re: ATI Catalyst™ 9.7 Display Driver for Windows XP Professional/Home Edition

After I saw the steaming pile of dog poo that they have turned the CCC UI into when I installed the 9.7s on on of my WIN 7 partitions...this will NEVER see use on my one last XP partition.

Nor will it ever reside in any of my other Vista and WIN7 partitions.

A pox upon thee ATI.

Re: ATI Catalyst™ 9.7 Display Driver for Windows XP Professional/Home Edition

What's the deal with the links for the driver in the original post? Every time I click on anything at the AMD site, it keeps popping up some little box about Flash version=10.0.22. I'm running Firefox 3.5.1 and have the latest version of Flash installed.

Doesn't really matter I guess, I have an X1600 in this PC, so the new drivers are useless to me anyway.

Hmm, when does the next legacy cycle update arrive, everyone was saying quarterly, which pointed to the 9.6 or the 9.7, though presumably a seperate release.
