Question About Omega Drivers

Hi, I've been using the NVIDIA Omega drivers for quite some time, and I know I'm not supposed to touch anything other than the AA and AF settings. Does this apply for the ATi Omegas? Thanks in advance.

Omega recomends that you don't do much to tweak his drivers other than OC or make AA\AF adjustments....

Chaos, that is not what craig588 said per my Omega Settings question/post yesterday.
I guess I'm confused again now.

Well after looking in the control panel what other changes are you thinking of that don't include AA/AF settings........

The settings like Overlay or the Color tab are fair game also I would assume....

Chaos, I am at work right now and don't have an ATI card to view, but I was mainly questioning changing the "performance/quality" settings and TruForm in D3D and OpenGL.

no problem dude..... funny thing is I can't get the original Cat 3.5 drivers to work on my system now for some reason..... I have been trying for the past hour or so and finally after doing a new Omega install my system is fine again...... and before people repond.....yes I have followed all the various un-install procedures.

I don't feel like doing a format on my system at the moment so comparrison images are not currently available..... the 2 images posted were both taken with Omega 2.4.60 Hacked version

Hi, thanks for the help. But I don't really get it... So... Is it alright for me to set the Texture quality to "High Quality"? The default is Quality in the Omega drivers.

the bottom line from omega is that you can change any settings you want in the ATI control panel and not mess his work up. But if you bust out tweakers (ie rage3d tweaker) and start messing around that is what affects omegas tweaks. AA/AF settings are absolutely fine to tweak and will not affect omegas tweaks at all....
