rolleyes Ubi Soft Forgotten Battles

I have an ATI 9700Pro. I loaded up Ubi's Forgotten Battles the day it was released. I had been playing IL-2 with my old system and nvidia Ti4400. It worked great . I wanted higher performance. So I upgraded to a Asus A7N8X mobo, AMD 2800 w/barton L2 cache, Corsair PC3200, low latency matched 512 sticks, and the ATI 9700 pro. I have a problem when I turn the "waiting for Vertical sync to default on or always on. When I roll the aircraft I get a hesitation in the roll, it's not a smooth continious rolling movement. Now when I turn the Wait for vertical sync off or default off. the rolls are nice and smooth. But, when I use the mouse and pan around in the cockpit I get jagged lines in the cockpit frame. I'm not sure why this does this, but I never had the problem with my Ti-4400. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

I kept the Vsync off all the time, and I used performance settings as well, I avoid the quality settings because the game really demands quality. You might try checking the directx diagnostics and also check for driver updates for the card, I run Omega drivers and don't have too many problems. Also, when you changed the card out, did the game recognise the new card and use the appropriate settings? Something to consider, I use the FB forums and they are helpful, but I think Omega drivers might solve some issues....worth a try right?

I am using the latest Omega drivers. They work great and look awsome. I installed this video card when I did the entire upgrade. There were never anyother drivers installed except the initial install of the Cat 3.4's. I read the forums at Ubi all the time and have posted this propblem there on numerous occasions, no one seems to have a clue. Most suggestions are to use on board sound. I don't think that is going to solve the problem... Thanks for the suggestions.
