I am new to ATI...I need some clarification

I just recieved my 9800 card. I wanna try these Omega 3.5 drivers but I just read that ATI just released the Cat 3.6 drivers....which should I run (which is better)? Also, referring to the Omega drivers....does 2.4.60 = Omega driver 3.5? Thanks guys.

I tried the Cat 3.5 based Omega's, aka 2.4.60 for Win XP. They were not bad drivers, but the 2.4.43's seemed better, more consistent and better IQ.
I would suggest installing the 3.6, Official ATI drivers, then when the Omega's come out, all you have to do is un-install the ATI CP, and install
the Omega's. over the Official 3.6 Display drivers.

HTH

I am using Omega's 2.4.60 without issue's.... For a 9800 line I think I would try the Cat 3.6 and wait for Omegas then do a personal comparison on your machine.....I also really liked Omega's 2.4.43 but his newest version fixed a problem I was having with RadClocker
