Reverting back to 60Hz in game
Can anyone tell me why I'm reverted back to 60Hz when playing HL, I have selected 100Hz in the control panel and nothing. I have a Sapphire Radeon 9700NP with CAT3.6 installed and my monitor can support over 100Hz, any suggestions on fixing this?
Also, which is the tweaking ultility for the Radeons? like rivaturner and that..? Thanks for any answers

Alright I found a problem, when playing HL I configurated 100Hz through my control panel like you said, works great... BUT when I press escape accidentally (where it says Resume Game, Disconnect and so on), it reverts back to 60Hz
![]() Is there any fix for that now, cause I know I'll end up doing it again. The only way to bring it back to 100Hz is to exit HL and reload it, which is useless during clan matches. Fix?? Edit: This is annoying indeed, whenever I change server I have to exit HL all together. Last edited by neilm; Jul 21, 2003 at 01:37 AM. |

Believe you can use a tweaker program such as PowerStrip or RadTweaker to force the setting.
