Help needed for 9200 Atlantis 256mb

Trying to install drivers on winxp, whenever I installed the screen went black. I had to go into safe mode and disable them. There appears to two items installed 9200 and 9200 sec. I tried installing them separtely the 9200sec went on ok but whenever I tried to install the 9200 the screen went blank again. Any Ideas!!!!! I tried the latest omega drivers but the same thing happens, if I set the agp to 4x and to 32mb in the bios then it will load. I tried flashing the bios with the latest mb bios updates, same problem. What am I doing wrong!!!

Do you see that the Hard Disk keeps working after the screen goes black? Or it just stays there with no HD activity?

If you are looking for a good budget card, then go for any 9500, they can be "hacked" to 9700

Hi dicky,

I have the same problem! But I am using a Powercolor Radeon 9200 256mb. What did you do to resolve your problem?
