quick question about the hacked omega drivers for my card - need quick answer pls

i run a radeon 9500 pro. never installed "hacked drivers".

i was under the impression that a hacked driver was intended to make a 9500 non-pro act like a 9700, and a 9700 non pro to a 9800.

that's not correct?

should i use the hacked drivers with this card?

what, exactly, is my benefit?

thank you in advance!!

I do

Two benfits that I get from using the hacked driver:

1.) Allows me to overclock my card (Built by ATI 9500pro) without flashing the bios.

2.) Smoothvision 2.1 as apposed to the standard Smoothvision II

Not sure about benchmark scores because I'm not really into that. All games run great and the aa/af you get with the Smoothvision 2.1 seems to look and perform a little better.

I am using the Omega 3.5 drivers.
