What is that? And where are the textures? 571 fps is good- but I saw 270 in MOHAA SP in the actual game with everything maxed out- and all the textures there. (looking at the ground)

Is that a hack or something?

If you got that framerate at the sacrifice of visual eye candy, it's BAD.

The quest was for max fps, I already know what I can achieve with all the eye candy on...I was just enjoying the new drivers and experimenting. Thanks!

You guys don't seem to get it. There's quality and preformance, maxing out the settings tests quality, turning everything off tests preformance.

He did it to fully test the drivers out.

Yeah, but you didn't tell us what drivers you were using, what video card you have, what your system is, or what your results were with different drivers. At least then there would be some point behind it.. Ya know?

You think you're gonna be able to max everything out in Half-Life 2?

Actually I have been testing drivers for quite some time in association with various card settings, BIOS adjustments, and editing various personal .cfg's in certain games. Sometime ago I met a guy on another site by the name of GRIM who introduced to this all. I found it quite interesting and have been tweaking settings since. Mostly I enjoy my personal quest for the ultimate FPS given a certain set of hardware and drivers.

I was reading a news Article a few days ago when I found this web site. Then I saw the Omega Driver site and installed them to give them a test. They are now also installed on my wifes PC and testing them out on the Nvidia ti4600 as well.

Anyway I posted this web site and the Omega site to all our members and suggested they give them a test. Many thanks for allowing me to share these results with you all and to all who work on this site and the Omega for all the work and effort.

Apologies for not posting any system specs previously, I got all caught up in the moment and the results.

What do you get in MOHAA Sprearhead? I seem to get low fps in that game compared to all others no matter what settings I use.

Usually around 160 but as with all games and maps it varies. In MoHAA I found that even when I did all that I could to tweak hardware and drivers I still had low FPS. I was able to increase them by using a personal .cfg and adjusting different settings, then testing, until I was able to achieve what I wanted for FPS.
