??? Omega drivers and changing settings

I am new to the ATI community so forgive me for asking this is already asked.

OK, I downloaded the Omega 3.6 drivers. They are great. My 3DMark 2003 score is still a bit low...about 5100pts on my system. See below for my system specs. I should be getting higher scores. (not that it really matters since those scores are only a benchmark but still).

I also understand that the guy who makes the Omega drivers says to not alter the settings. Is he also talking about the control panel settings that involve OpenGL and Direct 3D settings-mipmap detail, texture pref.,Anisotropic Filtering, etc.? (don't know the Omega programers name sorry.)

Thanks...and a special thanks to the Omega driver programer. Great job. I read about the nVidia issue and that really bits man. In fact, for me, nVidia really turned me off latlely with their lack luster products and such. I am new to ATI and so far I love their cards. These Omega drivers are truely great. Thanks again.

if u read further in Omega's Site u can see that they he is talking about not using tweakers such as Rage3dtweak or whatever, changing the AA/AF/detail wont turn the optimizatioins off.

Vulcanorion, just out of curiosity, what is your CPUMk? For some reason, my CPU Mark was only about 350 despite my processor being a Athlon XP 2500+ @ 2293MHz if I ran in AGPx4. But if I forced my computer to run in AGPx8, it increased to 650 and all my benches increased too. SMARTGART kept resetting it back to AGPx4 so I had to use SMARTGART uninstaller, change the settings in BIOS, then re-install the Control Panel AND the Catalyst Drivers to get it to work properly. This may not be relevant to you but that was what my problem was.

Oh, and if you post a link to your 3DMark 03 score, that would make it easier to see what is wrong.
