Omega driver install

When i try to install the omega drivers when i execute the installer I imediatlly get a S****Runtime error. I dont remember the exact letters but i know thats what i started with. Its one of the standard report to microsoft things. I would really like to give the Omega Drivers a try. If you have any ideas please help. I have a 9500 129mb Sapphire by they way on Windows XP Pro with all the updates

Did you uninstall the previous control panel? You should do that. Also re-download the file to make sure you got the whole thing. You may also want to uninstall the regular driver completely and use drivercleaner from spike tools and also use cabcleaner, although most of the time you don't need to.

Did you use the add/remove program list to uninstall the stock control panel?

The Omega's worked great for me, I just uninstalled the regular ATI control panel and over-wrote the ATI drivers with the omega's and it worked great. Also, are you using the hack version option? Did you try it without that to see if that works?

"SUF60Runtime has encountered a problem and needs to close. We are sorry for the inconvenience.
AppName: irsetup.exe AppVer: 6.0.1.2 ModName: irsetup.exe
ModVer: 6.0.1.2 Offset: 00017399"

That is exactly what it says in the error. I uninstalled everything to do with ATI and drivers before tried to install and it still would not work. Any help would be appreciated.

yes i have redownloaded it a few times now from all different mirrors. I even tried getting an older version and still no luck. And thanks for the welcome. Wish it would have been on a better note than this.

No luck. I am completely stumped about this. I dont know what to do short of a complete reformat which i DONT want to do. If anyone else has any ideas im up for anything other than reformatting. Thanks for all the help.

Uhh, do any other drivers work? If not- format c: At least that's what I would do, unless you have some restore point to go back to.

Have you tried to roll back the drivers, then update them instead up fresh install? Maybe you got some files missing somewhere somehow.

I justinstalled the latest Omega's as the very first driver my system had on it after a format c:, and everything is smooth and fast so far.
