Latest Omega's .74a..
With the latest cataylsts I VERY intermittently get the old Infinite Loop error while at the windows desktop. Someone advised me to try upping the agp voltage on my 9700. What is the safe limit to the agp voltage?

If your running on a stock heatsink and up the voltage then your only gonna make it worse anyway(it makes it hotter) But up it up a notch and try it....the first thing to happen if it overheats is that your graphics will get distorted or it will freeze. (try 1.6v) BTW thats a sweet rig you have,,,,i really dont see how your having problems unless your drivers are mixed up from partial uninstalls etc. Try drivercleaner to clean out your drivers and reinstall them clean.. No it's a fresh Install
My card is running with a Cooljag active heatsink on it. It odd... it never happens when I'm there I usually come home from work and it gives me the "your computer has recovered form a hardware failure" error and the desktop is a 640x480 in 16 colours. But it only happens once every 2-3 weeks.

Well the "" "your computer has recovered form a hardware ...." message comes after a system reboot( probably from the system failier restart).
Which mean s your pc is rebooting from a crashed app or hardware. And since it reverts to resolutions that are used only when the OS has no information about the video card (driver) i would suspect its vidcard related like a bad card (heaven forbid..but) or a Unstable system (mainboard/powersupply etc.). i hate to say so but i think the vidcard is the "bad guy" Because your other hardware looks too good to be causing this problem unless ofcourse its heat related (bad case temps or faulty application of the vidcard cooling). Good luck!!
