Just had a thought about them and felt the need to share what was going through my head.

Dont bother with the ECS build....if your using the 3.7's its not worth it...just wait a little while for the real 3.8's

Has anyone spoken to Omega about his 3.8 set? I wonder if all the changes that ATI have mentioned are gonna inhibit his tweaking in any way???

I don't remember which site I saw them on but I grabbed the W2K/XP set.... I have not tried them yet but there should also be a modified ati2mtag.dll to allow the 9500 >> 9700 mod out by now also if you put your PI hat on

kaosss is on a distinguished road

ok :
I found :
ftp://ftp.ecs.com.tw/driver/vga/rex/9X_INF.zip

ftp://ftp.ecs.com.tw/driver/vga/rex/2KXP_INF.zip

"Keep your current CP after installing these drivers, but to be sure to keep all the same options (Truform, ect...) download and run 1 of the 3 reg file included in this zip, according to your OS:

www.pckit.ca/~francois/reg.zip

Those are the reg files from the cat 3.7 CPL, I just changed the release number in them for the CP to "see" the new drivers
"
on other forum...

Geez, the beta testers on this forum are just as bad as Rage3D

BTW - those 7.94 ECS drivers are NOT the Cat3.8 drivers. Those will be 7.95.
