Thumbs Down! 3.8 Over rated garbage.

I can't believe how you people are acting like complete idiots. I mean seriously, these drivers are worse then 3.7. They don't give any performance increases like they said it would, the benches have proven this. Also, this drivers shouldn't concern anybody without a 9800TX.

My thoughts on the subject, feel free to rant or whatever.

for me the Game Profil feature is fully overrated. Look you need to go all the way to the CP (dont forget the 5 second load time on some PCs) and there to change the Profil. Why not use a 3rd Party tool like rTool and change those settings by hand?

€: I thought the Game Profils feature would be like RadLinker. Just set up a game and the Drivers automatically change the settings. That would be innovative.

sry but this feature is crap ;(

There was never any mention of tremendous performance increases with the new 3.8 set. The word out before the release was they (ATI) were introducing new features in the Catalyst software suite. If you look back at the readme files, you will concur that there is a nice set of new features. Terry has never once said that the 3.8 set would offer performance boosts over 3.7.

If you are going to rant, please back it up with proof.
