M9000 & PowerPlay... on or off!??!

Hi, I have a Acer Aspire 1603LM with an ATI M9000 with OMEGA 2.4.78 (aka Catalyst 3.7).
How can I find if the PowerPlay is enabled? In Control Panel there isn't the PowerPlay tab! In the registry of Win2000 (server) all the features that are like powersaving or powerplay are enabled (DWORD or BINARY at 1).

The clock of my chip (in 3dmark2003 and PowerStrip) is 238 CPU / 190 RAM, I think to save thermal issues.
(last night I have set 250CPU & 200RAM and I played NWNight for 4 hours

)
I don't know if the low clock is caused by the PowerPlay or by a choice of Acer.

Where is the truth? Please.
