9600 and 2nd monitor question

I recently installed a Radeon 9600 AGP. My system loads up the 9600 as the primary monitor and as a secondary monitor. When I add a Radeon 7000 PCI card for a 2nd monitor it makes it the 3rd monitor and this causes problems. I cannot delete the 2nd 9600 settings without wiping out the primary monitor as well.
I've tried removing all drivers and reloading them but it always installs 2 monitors in the hardware settings when only 1 card is installed.
Any ideas how to stop the secondary 9600 from being loaded?

I'm using Win2K on a 1.3 Anthlon with 512 mb RAM on a Soyo KT333 mobo.

Thanks!

well the 9600 features a primary and secondary disply... it like 2 cards in one .. so when you install the second card it shows up as a third for that resaon.

if you really what to disable the secondary display (then what the point of haveing a duel header card?) go int control panel select it and select disable.

like on my card there is a dvi output that you attach an adapter 2 (about a $5 adapter) and it the runs 2 monitors... they usally come with the card unless you bought oem... there is no need to add any other cards to run a second monitor!!!!!!!!!
