Custom resolution for PAL-TV
Hey, first let me say THANKS for the best ATI tweaked driver OMEGA!
Lately i have been trying to tune my tv-out. I read that the best resolution for PAL-TV is 720x576 and i would like to have this resolution working. Here is a tip if you can add this to omega´s drivers. -custom resolution 720x576 -Hot key that would change the monitor to tv and change the resolution at the same time from 1280x960 to 720x576, and when pressed again would change back to monitor with resolution 1280x960. (like the switch monitor function curently in the drivers) In the mean time, can i edit the register or the inf-file off the drivers to have the custom resolution 720x576. I found these lines from the inf-file, but have no idea how edit them to get that resolution. Quote:
Now when i change to tv the resolution doesn´t change to 800x600. Manually changing it to 800x600 works. Now when i chage back to monitor the resolution changes back to 1280x960 like it´s supposed to! So why doesn´t it change the resolution for the tv-out... i "saved" the tv-desktop with 800x600 resolution and added the hotkey, so it isn´t that. By the way, is there a chance that my monitor drivers are blocking some resolutions? Sorry for the long post. And thanks for any help. |
