Omega Drivers, soft mod question.

I have a Redeon 9700 Pro. I downloaded the new Omega Drivers last night for my IGP320 on my laptop, and it had this soft-mod option for a Radeon 9700 -> 9800SE. What does it do to softmod to a 9800SE? What new features are added, and where can I read more about soft modding the 97800 pro with these drivers?
