Sony Vaio and Omega Drivers
Hello,
I need some help with an old Sony Vaio laptop (PCG-GR214EP) which has an ATI Radeon Mobility (M6, I think) card. I installed Win2k fresh, and now I am trying to install Omega's drivers. The installation always fails with "INF error - Video Driver not found" when installing the drivers. When I click OK, I get another message, "Setup was unable to complete the installation. Try to setup your display adapter with a standard VGA driver before running setup". But the display is indeed running in VGA mode with I guess the default Win2k VGA driver. DirectX is 9b, OS is Win2k SP4, Omega is 2.4.96c. Please help me getting this laptop work. I cannot find any link on Sony's or ATI's website, so I guess this model is old and not supported anymore. Ugh. Got it.
http://www.hardwareheaven.com/showthre...threadid=30394 Sorry folks, for not checking the archives. Working fine now, after I used the driver manager. Binand |
